This research aimed to find out: (1) the spirit level of entrepreneurship of senior vocational school (SMK) students, (2) whether there was any difference regarding the spirit of entrepreneurship of senior vocational school students seen from the background of the parents ‘occupations, specialty programme, gender; family culture, and education and training implementation at school. This research surveyed 588 students from the specialty programme of accountancy and marketing at three public senior vocational schools and seven private senior vocational schools in the province of Yogyakarta Special Region. The data were collected through questionnaires and then analyzed by using the Chi-Square. The research results showed that: (1) the spirit of entrepreneurship of senior vocational school students was relatively high, (2) there was no difference in the spirit of entrepreneurship of senior vocational school students seen from the background of the parents ‘occupations, specialty programme and gender; but there were differences when seen from the family culture and education as well as training implementation.
