Isi artikelThis article is based on a research conducted at Boyolali Regency to compare elementary teachers’ performance based on the teachers’ educational background (PST-GK, D II PGSD, or SGO) and alumnae of PST-GK comprehension on five core subjects taught in elementary school. Using proportional stratified random sampling method, 30 teachers’ graduates from SPG, 35 teachers with PST-GK background, and 230 teachers from DII PGSD were selected as respondents. Respondents were asked to take tests on the five core subjects. Two-way Variance Analysis shows that statistically there is no significant difference in mean score from the five subjects between alumnae of PST-GK and those of DII PGSD. However, alumnae of PST-GK significantly perform better than those of SPG. In term of alumnae PST-GK performance on the five core subjects, there is no significant different between mean score for the five subject.
