This study investigates the comfort of a room cooled with a ceiling air conditioning system, by measuring the air temperature, air velocity, mean radiant temperature and humidity. These data were used to calculate predicted mean vote (PMV) values, from which predicted percentage dissatisfied (PPD) could be determined, The PMV and PPD values, which were used to determine the comfort of the climate and the degree of satisfactions, respectively indicate that the room had a climate close to optimal comfort.
