It creates a perfect breeding ground where millions of bacteria proliferate and is oftern involved in enamel decay, tartar formation, gingival disorders, and receding gums, To prevent teeth from the damaging effect or dental plaque, it should be removed from the surface of each tooth daily, on the inside as well as the outside surfaces.
