Unemployment in Indonesia has been at alarming level, with the unemployment rate reaching 10 percent of total workforce. Among them are the educated unemployment which is also increasingly upscaling, This study found that the constraints the educated is facing in labor market system not only from internal but also from external and structural factors. The prolonged unemployment that the participants experience engender some sort of economic, social and psychological impacts. One of the impacts that needs more attention is the possible great loss of the quality of the educated ones. these are two general survival patterns the participants apply, the mechanism related to posing and / or solving the problem. In this difficult time, family is still the only one of social safety net provided.
