To get the necessary publicity about the product or service, company or organizational must skillfully use the mass promotion tools of advertising, sales promotion, and public relations, In relation to the importance of mass promotion, the Faculty of Technobiology Atma Jaya Catholic University has been using scientific seminars as the promotion tool since its establishment in 2002. Based on its functionality, scientific seminar can be classified as a mass promotion tool of public relations. Results from the seminar and their potential as a promotion tool are discussed in the research evaluation.
