Environment has a relatively big influence as one of the factors which affects the degree of heakth in the community. Usually the environment of the urban community does not qualify terms of health, so the spread of disease easily occurs, especially airborn diseases such as Upper Respiratory Tract Acute Infection. Upper Respiratory Tract Acute Infection is the most crucial cause of death to children in developing countries, responsible for 4 to 5 milion deaths each year, smaller than the number of deaths caused by diarrhea. This survey was aimed at understanding home environmental factors which are related to the incidence of Upper Respiratory Tract Acute Infection in children under 5 years old. Using a survey design with a cross sectional approach, samples were taken at random from 464 respondents. The result of this survey, using a multivariabel logistic regression statistic test is the use of cooking fuel, crowding of too many people in one home and humidity are related, statistically, with upper Respiratory Tract Acute Infection in childer under 5 years old.
