Isi artikelThe application of magnetic coupling with controlled DC voltage injection using AT89S51 micro controller as variable speed control of single phase induction motor. Electric motor is very needed to move any light or heavy equipments in high or low speed as it is desired. Many control devices are made t control the speed of electric motorm but most of them face various problems due to the expensive price of its control device, and its hard maintenance. An induction motor, as the most common used electric motor, has small range speed so that to get wider range of speed, an alternative variable speed control method is needed. In order to overcome the problem, in this paper, a magnetic coupling is applied as variable speed control. The main principle of this variable speed contril is by putting magnetic coupling at the output of rotor acle of the elctric motor. This coupling cover two separates axles with small adjacent gap. one axle is the output of rotor and the other is the controlled rotating axle that drives the load. The speed of variable otating axle is controlled uses thy ristor or SCR (Silicon Controlled REctifier), which is triggered by variable angle). The triggering process using zero crossing detector to determine when triggered signal applied. The variation of time or angle to trigger is programmed using micro controller AT89S51.........
