The studies of non linear optic of sodium in external magnetic field. The characteristics of non linear optics of NaCl solution in a external magnetic field (B) have been studied. A maximum external magnetic field of 0.049 T is produced by 6625 turns of coil with maximum current 5 A. The interaction of 5 mW, 633 nm, He-Ne laser with the sample in B leads to change of polarization angle, B of the electric field of light. The change of refractive index of the materials is measured using Michelson interferometer. for various NaCl solution concentrations, we have proved that the change of polarization angle varies linearly to B. It has also been concluded that the refractive index of NaCl solution are decreased linearly if B is increased.
