Reporting is an interesting profession. Some people love and call them heroes and others hate them. It reports contribute to society, then people consider them as heroes. However if their reporting destroys people lives, then they hate reporters. People generally do not know what is the description of a reporter's job. Tasks, function and rights of reporters have clearly been stetd in the Basic Press Law no. 21 / 1982 and Journalistic Code of ethics, Laws and regulations in Indonesia and the United Nations Convention protect reporters from persecution and criminal acts.
