Isi artikelThe purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of glutamate addititon on low dietary proteinr ation containing balanced amino acids. Parameter used were performance, egg amino acid profile and plasma amino acid profile of egg layers. Fifty layers of Lohmann 402 strain at 23 weeks of age were randomly divided into 25 batteries. Each battery consisted of 2 layers and was assigned to 4 feeding treatments, which consisted of R1 - R4 and L - 18 rations or commercial feeds as a comparison. The results of the study showed that addition of glutamate to low dietary feed efficiency. Egg amino acid profile were not influenced by feed consumption, amino acid consumption and addition of glutamate in ration, whereas plasma amino acid profile was influenced by feed consumption, amino acid consumption and addition of glutamate in ration.
