Integrated Development Zones (KAPET) such as Sanggau has been adopted based on the Presidential Decree on November 13 , 1998. To implement the development of KAPET Sanggaum this system has established its guideline principles. Palm oil is apotential commodity to substitute the wood industry in KAPET Sanggau. Five to ten years in the future, pal oil in KAPET Sanggau is believed to rank first among top commodities in Indonesia. Infrastructure and other supporting factors are required to develop the palm oil industry and agricultural activities in KAPET Sanggau.
