The aim of this study is to determine the effect of various intermediate load hundle hops training on explosion power of the long jump. Hurdle hops training for each group used a vest with intermediate load respectiveky 50, 60 and 70 percent of their maximal effort. This study used a quasy experimental design with a pretest posttest randomized control design. The sample were student an intermediate high school in Tasikmalaya. the sampe was further sub divided into three groups each consisting of 30 students. The data was analyzed by Anova and t-Test, using a 95% confidence limit. The result indicated that three hurdle hops training of various intermediate loads has a beneficial effect on improving explosive power. However hurdle hops training of load 50% maximal effort had a stronger effect compared to hurdle hops training of load 60% and 70% maximal effort.
