Kacang gude (Cajanus cajan L. millsp) is grouped within the leguminose family which is suitbale graun in dry land environment with attitude less than 2000 meetr above sea level, temperature at 18 - 38 Celcius Degree and rainfall of 600 - 1000 mm yearly. Kacang gude is cultivated by people. because value, which is a substitution of soy beans int empe and tahu fermentations. The growth and yield of plant are influenced by genetics and environmental factors. Quality of soil and fertility as environmental factors, influenced the growth and it yield. Kacang gude is suitable to be cultivated in the soil texture ranging from sand to clay liat, crumbled structuring of soils, high capacity of cation exchange, moderate prorosity, good aeraton and having pH of 5 - 7. Availability of (N) Nitrogen, P (Phospordus), (K) Potassium minerals is soil are factors determining the yield of the plant. Fertilizing efforts overcome the problems of N, P, K shortage in obtaining optimum growth. Kacang gude absorbs N, P,K mineral is in high quality during its vegetative generative phase. The shortage of N mineral in the soil will result in smaller plant, leaf chlorosis and stem becoming red disch in colour. The shortage of P mineral in the soil will result in smaller plant, leaf and stem becoming violet in colour, as well as shortage of K mineral will resulted in smaller plant.
