Isi artikelSpelling checker is a well known application, neither for embedded to other application or independent application. the most reason input processing error is a typing fault. Typing fault can be classified as four cases. One character error, more than one character error, swap character, and swap error character. the need of spelling checker is increasing as a user fault growth. A new recent case appears in another human fault scope is more or less character errors. Genetic algorithm is one of intelligent research which uses for spelling checker. Chromosom coding factor of genetic algorithm, uses keyboard character mapping, design approach which called Zig-Code. This research is done based on the genetic algorithm parameters like population size, crossover probability, mutation probability, crossover point, and mutation point.
