The aim of study was to determine an association and influence of collaborations on scientific productivity in the aerospace field. Method of data collecting was done by documentation through recording and analyzing records of research and development in the aerospace field from LAPAN publications between 1993 - 1998. Technical analysis was done by applying non-parametric statistical analysis through Spearmen Rank correlation coefficient with an alpha of 5%. This study concluded that : 1) there was a positive correlation between collaborations and scientific productivity in the aerospace field and 2) the percentage of this relationship was 78.3% and the residual of 21.7% was due to other factors.
