A watershed is a region or area bounded peripherals by water topographically divided and running ultimately to a particular watercourse or body of water. A watershed collects and discharges its surface stream flow through outlets or mouths. Watershed management is vey important because it is the management of all natural resources of drainage based primarily for the production and protection of water supplies and water based resources including control of erosion and floods, and the protection of esthetic values associated with water. The government and people who live at a watershed must protect and maintain the forest, because it has very important function to maintain the watershed in good condition and make it useful for the benefit of the people, flora and fauna, as well as the environment.
