Central of image interpretation and integrated surveys called as PUSPICS was built under memorandum of understanding between National Coordination Agency for Surveys and Mapping with Gadjah Mada University Faculty of Geography in Yogyakarta in 1976. Up to 20 years (1976 - 1995) PUSPICS had trained 356 skilled for government and non-government institutions in Indonesia. By the National Regional number 22 / 1999 of regional autonomy and the national regulation number 25 / 1999 of balance financing between central and regional government, there will be more opportunities for local government to have supports to study of remote sensing know ledges for regional government staffs. Remote sensing specialist, equipments, financial and good management are good supports for regional developing.
