This experiment was conducted to study the effect of urea concentration and duration of fiber content n soybean straw ammoniation to investigate any interaction between those treatmen, twelve lastic packs each containing 10 kg of chopped corn straw was ammonated with 4% and 6% urea concentrations. Ammoniation lasted 2 and 4 weeks, hence there were 4 treatments with 3 replication samples collected for fiber analysis (dry samples). The data were analysed by complete randomized design using factorial design. The result indicates that urea concentration (4% vs 6%) gives NDF 64.17% vs 63.55%, ADF 48.3% vs 44.42% selulosa 35.31% vs 33.25%, lignin 11.5% vs 10.43%, silica 0.3% vs 0.28%. Duration of ammoniation (2 weeks vs 4 weeks) gives NDF 65.15% vs 62.58%, ADF 47.31% vs 45.4%, selullosa 36.53% vs 32.03%, lignin 9.53% vs 12.40%, silica 0.27% vs 0.31%. Urea concentration and duration do not significantly affect NDF, ADF, selulosa, lignin and silica. There is no interaction between urea concentration and duration of ammoniation. It is suggested that 4% urea concentration and 2 week duration of ammoniation give better results in this study.
