Science and technology keep on charging. Human civilation is greatly influenced by the development of science and technology. To keep up with the development of science technology, school curriculum therefore should be changed accordingly. The new curriculum should be able to develop learner's competencies to keep up with the development of technology. To get the right track, however, curriculum development should be in line with the vision and mision of the institution, as well as the principles of regional otonomy. no matter how well a curriculum is designed, when curriculum development and the curriculum contents are not in line the vision and mision formulated, it will never be achieved.
