Present lifestyle of unbalanced diet of high fat and low fiber as weel as sedentary environment where people are lazy, stressful and often smoking cigarettes, all are factors increasing lipid concentration and Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). Accoding to the 2001 National health Survey the main cause of mortality in Indonesia is cardiovascular disease namely 26,3%. The National Cholesterol Education program (NCEP) showed that age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, smoking, increases C-LDL and decrease C-HDL. This can be achieved through a well balanced diet and regular exercise. This study determined the relation between physical exercise with blood lipid concentration and vital capacity in adults (>30 years). the study used and experimental design of 30 adults above 30 years. Exercise of 3 months duration was done on two groups of subjects. group 1 did aerobic gymnastics twice a week, while Group 2 didi aerobic gymnastics once a week with walking twice a week. The results of the study showed that group 1 had increased vital capacity from 81.47 - 12.058 to 86.6 - 12.34 (p = 0.644) and C - HDL from 63.6 - 13.20 to 65.4 - 16.68 (p = 0.618), but statistically not significant. There was not significant decrease of triglycerides (p = 0.189) and C - LDL (p = 0.0150)............
