Social economic gap is a factual and unavoidable phenomenon in Indonesia. The main cause is social injustice. the fifth principle of the state Pancasila ideology calls for social justice for all citizens in Indonesia. In reality, this principle has not yet been fulfilled. this study found that in reality social justice has been falsely interpreted. At present, social justice has been interpreted as a family principle that places the government as a single factor in distributing and allocating goods and services without being controlled by the public. This condition brings about bias in the distribution of goods and services to individual, family and group interests. in order to create social justice in the future, it will be necessary to build a democratic political system which enables the people to control the decision making process, especially in terms of distribution and allocation of goods and services.
