Basic procedure in resource allocation is a work schedulling method by balancing requirement of resource with available resource. There are some methods that an be used to resolve this problem. This article investigates the strength and weakness of series and parallel methods. Both used in a fixed condition will delay a project, because allocation of activities having the same strating time is carried out based on priority. By increasing resources, time delay can be decreased. In the series method the job is carried out in series. it must be finished before the start of the second job however, in the parallel method all jobs can be started at the same time. Thus the parallel method needs a higher degree of precision and better method of analysis compared to the series method.
