Isi artikelThe thesis discusses about recognition system of 2D signal, that is image which has different orientation and size. Image is processed by using Zernike momen method, one method to index image. Index which has been got is used as identity to recognize image. Momen Zernike is used as multidimension index as its characteristic doesn't change towards image rotation. Image recognition process using Zernike parameter will be influenced by the size difference of image. Therefore, image size normalization process is done so that characteristic of momen Zernike will not change towards size difference of image. By using Zernike parameter, average value of image recognition is 91.67% for all values of mistake tolerance and all images sizes that have been tried. Magnitudo value of momen Zernike parameter does not change much towards image size differences.
