Isi artikelHolographic interferometry is an accurate method of meauring a very small displacement, i.e. in micrometer (10^-6 m or less) orde. By using this method, fringe patterns are obtain from the interference of light rays scattered from pair of corresponding points on the illuminated object surfaces before and after the displacement has occured. Due to its superiority this method is very suitable for length measurements in rays wave length orde, e.g. the measurment of surface deformation, osciliation amplitude and structure displacement in micrometer orde. This paper discusses the holographic recording process of deformation or osciliation being executed, as well as the holographic reconstruction process, and the analysis of the recorded fringe patterns on a photographic film.
