The aim of this article is to discuss issues surrounding facilitating inter-collaborations in the Learning Sciences. Educational Technology has recently published two special issues related to the Learning Sciences: (1) on whether the fields of Instructional Systems and Learning Sciences are disparate or cinvergent; and (2) on Design-Based Research, which seemingly is gaining much momentum and attention.
