Rapid development of information technology has been reaching every aspect of human daily life, industrial and trades are no exception. Many companies started doing data exchange with their suppliers, consumers and other companies. Data exchange is not done using a printed media anymore but conducted using electronics data with a specified format. One of the well-known formats for the electronic data is XML. XML is a mark up language that has widely been accepted as the standard for data exchanging in the Internet. The exchanged data is usually the transactional data being stored in a database. Therefore, such data exchange needs software that is able to convert data from a specified database format to XML format and vice versa. This research built the Inter-Databases Data exchanging System using XML (Sistem Pertukaran Data Antar Basis Data dengan XML) which is able to convert data from a various database to the corresponding XML file and vice versa. It runs on Windows platform mainly for Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. This software is also provided with a database management utility that will accomodate the database administrator to manage the database. Development of this software was carried out using Object Oriented Software Developemnt (OOSD) approach.
