Isi artikelFeedback seems to be as central to the process of teaching and lea" writing as revision is to the process of writing. It is therefore important to develop an awareness of the nature and function of feedback so teachers and learners can perform their roles effectively in the wm classroom. There is a famous Telegu saying that in order for the cart to move in the right direction, its two bullocks need to understand not only the purpose of their efforts but also each other. In the present context' means teachers and learners should adopt a collaborative approach monitoring and processing of feedback. In order to do so, they need develop an awareness of the processes of composition and revision. In-corporating consciousness-raising activities into classroom pedagogy may be considered a form of learner training.
