This paper describes the efforts of two regional foreign language conferences to dkseminate the conference programs to teachers not able toparti- cipate. The dissemination effort offers benefits both to the teachers serving as teachers of their colleagues and to those who have the opportunity to share in a program from the broaderfield of foreign language education. The paper dhcusses the need for inservice opportunities, and the need for encouraging greater professionalism. The projects described respond to both of these needs and offer models to other language associations.
