This difference in management creates differences in airport accounting methods and tupes of financial information. As a result, financial performance analysis that are usually applied to private enterprises, can only be applied to one airport group. This situation, of course, creates difficulties in financial performance comparison between all indonesian airports. This article tries to overcome the difficulties by creating some financial performance analysis formulas which can be applied uniformly to both airport groups. Based on the analysis, this article found that current policy of airport management categorization is basically based only on financial performance strength considerations, and final to consider the effficiency and effectiveness factors in airport management as a whole. This paper then offers an alternative management system in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of indonesian airport management in the future.
