This paper provides a critique of vietnamese communities policy in the central Highlands since 1975. It first examine the impact of internal migration on the highlands ; then it looks at how vietnamese antrhopologist have undestood these development and extracts from their studies references to the social and cultural changes induced by the policies of the new regine and the practices of some of its crades.
