A description of small industries in a region is required to distinguish the equity of development especially industrial development. This study applied cluster analysis to obtain a description of small industries in Bekasi. This analysis was done by grouping districts based on small industry variables. Data from 1995 Bekasi small industries of the Department of Industry was used. The result was Bekasi may be divided into four district groups. The first group consists of small industries with low potential, the second group consists of small industries with high potential, the third group consists of relatively high numbers of small industries with low levels of supporting components, and the final group consists no small industries.
