Form complexity and variation of plastics product highly develop following the demand on plastics product that always change srapidly. This problem will give a strong impac ton complexity and variation of mould. Problems frequently occur in the making of mould cavity havig a high complexity. CNC and CAD / CAM facility is utilised to overcome this problem. However, not all of CAD system is integrated with CAM system. This paper generally desribe the manufacturing rpocess of EDM electrode of plastic mould using the transfer data file of CAD system that does not have CAM facilitate to an integrated CAD / CAM ystem that is able to generate NC codes. The making of EDM electrode for plastic glass mould is used as a case study.
