Roy's largest root criterion is one of several multivariate test statistics available to the data analyst. Although it has a number of desirable properties to recommend it, no transformation to a more commonly tabulated statistic (such as the F ratio) exists, and the published tables for roy's criterion are quite limtied in terms of levels of statistical significance and values of the distribution parameters. This article describes a PC - based program that permits the user to geenrate tables of critical values for roy's criterion for any level of statistical significance and for any set of distribution parameters. Roy table is useful for the researcher who ends a more detailed tabulation of critial values than currently available and for the textbook author who wants to customize the tables being made available to the reader.
