Between January to June 1993 the sexual drew of 40 male put stroke patients had been investigated at the Neurological Department of M. Jamil Hospital and private clinic in Padang. All of patients have had stroke for at least 6 months from the examination and still were living together with their wives. Diabetic and impotence patients were excluded from this study. 1he age range of the subjects were between 24 - 76 years the average age were 55.5 : 11.4 years (mean :I: 50).
