The influence of addition of propionate and valine to the erythromycine production produced by Saccharopolyspora Erythrea AITC 11635 was studied. The erythromycine fermentatation was carried out by usirig shaker method where a solution rontaining glucose. sucrose. tryptone dIu! yeast exstract was used as inoculotion medium.It was found that the addition of propionate or valine increased the rate of cell growth of Sacclirapolyspora erylhrea A1TC 11635. in this case the propionate worked better. Addition of.aline increased erythromycine production but not to propionace.
