Anticonvulsion effect of "phsycotic spice orjamu" has been tested on induced-convulsion mice. Results showed that the jamu tested were able to protect mice from convulsion induced with amphetamin (100 mglkg body weight) and enhanced the surviving capabability of 75 % treated micr more thail 24 hours after treatment. Hcwever, there is no such protection after being induced with 2 mglkg body weight strichnin and 50 mglkg body weight cardiazol.
