Business schools have been in turbulent business environment for the last decade, and also during the current decade. It has forced business schools to look at four basic uestions: How do we more effectively deal with the challenge of the changing business odd? How do we develop curricula that are not only rigorous but also relevant? How o we develop teaching methods for creating a better learning place in business schools? and, finally, How do we develop more effective learning partnerships with bu¬siness? This article addresses these strategic issues by examining the impact of the ianging business world on business schools, and by describing critical aspects in the development of relevant curricula, “non-traditional” teaching methods, and a “new” form partnership with business.
