Isi artikelCertainly, money can give employees different values. It can give employees the capacity to purchase goods and services they need. Money can also give a status symbol for those who have it, because it can be an indication of one employee's relative status compared with that of others. Sometimes, it seems that many managers would like to believe that everyone is motivated by money. If it were true, motivation would be easy, and managers would not have to deal with difficult concerns and motivations that employees have. Money can act as a motivator to some people under some conditions, but also does not motivate all employees to higher performance.
