The choice method has been used to evaluate the antifeedant activity of Hyptis capitata Jacq. The result showed that there is possibility of the plant as a natural-originated antifeedant at least with 1.4% dosage of its semi polar extract. The teratogenic assessment was used to evaluate the toxicity potency, using mice as a tremed animal, Even cleft palates were found in the highest dose given, but no reason to corifirm the teratcgenic potential of the extract unless any observations to conducted on many other species of common treated animal.
