Isi artikelThe flow behavior in channel is influenced with many factors, which are characteristic of flow, geometric of channel and hump of channel. It will increase water-surface until to downstream along river. The depth of flow increase or backwater can be caused of dam or weir across on river and the sudden drop of bed channel. For that on the research was made a numerical simulation program and physic model with multi weirs and slope of channel condition. The differential equation solutions use a direct step method with one-dimensional flow. The physic models use channel with dimension 250.0 cm span, 20.0 cm width and 35.0 cm depth. 1M results of numerical simulation and experimental show difference numbers, that are means 0.05 cm for types M1, and 0, 0086 for type M2. So it can be concluded, those differentials of occur are small relatively and numerical simulation with the direct step method can be used. For more accurate, that model must be improved to close as real condition, where the mathematical model from one-dimensional to two-dimensional (longitudinal and transversal direction) and the channel have to more width than exist model.
