Isi artikelIn this article, we will look at some of the concepts that formal language theory uses. There is a deep relationship between the theory of formal languages and the theory of automata. These theories underlie all of computational linguistics and play crucial roles in the actual design and behavior of computational systems that 'process' language. We will then apply these theories to describe a computational formalism known as a logic grammar, with which such computational systems process their linguistic data.
