Isi artikel
Higher demand in the month of Ramadhan compared to other months caused inflation in the month of Ramadhan to be constantly monitored by the authority of monitoring and controling of inflation in Indonesia. Ramadhan inflation is a paradox for Indonesian Moslem because it should be a moment to reduce consumption where fasting requires Moslem to endure hunger and thirst for a whole month. But the fact is that every year there is always an unusual price jump. The rationality of the behaviour of Indonesian Moslem consumers is tested in this study by looking at it from the inflation point of view and the rationality is based on the rationality that exist in Islamic religion.
