The present paper aims at describing the characteristics of the register of radio presenters, particularly such aspects as phonology, morphology, lexicon, and syntax. From the aspect of phonology, it can be concluded that there are some variations in the pronunciation of the register of the presenters. From the aspect of morphology, it has been found that there are forms which are used in formal as well as informal conversations. In the lexical context, the presenters use words usually spoken in formal occasions, in regional dialects, and even in English. In the area of syntax, active sentences are more often used than passive sentences. The presenters also prefer short to long sentences. The short sentences have different patterns such as S-P, P-S, and the S is often omitted. Lastly, it has been found that the listeners seem to prefer the register of the MOMBA-radio presenters.
