Isi artikel
This study specifies the absolute and relative effects of employment resources, such as income and workplace authority, on the percentage of feminine-typed housekeeping tasks done by Canadian women and men. Regression analyses show that personal achievements in the labor market mediate the effects of relative employment resources on performing traditionally female tasks, albeit differently for Canadian women than for Canadian men. Findings also show that French Canadian couples are generally more equitable in sharing traditionally female responsibilities then English-Canadian couples.
