The dual degree program is offered by many universities in Indonesia in their attempts to enter global competition. In this context, any university in Indonesia can cooperate with any foreign university to offer education with international standard to the local students. In relation to this, University "X" is interested in investigating the preferences of some recently-enrolled students over the dual degree program. Results show that the students are interested in a dual degree program because it is possible for them to complete part of the program in a foreign university. In addition, expenses, quality of education, and length of study are some of the important factors considered by students when choosing a foreign university. Based on the findings, the paper offers several suggestions regarding the dual degree program.
