On these days and age, especially nearing the election of governor, here in Indonesia, the researcher finds that the electronic democracy has gotten really out of hand. People from all walks of life have posted waves after waves stories and news which truths are very questionable. While at a glance, the motivation for the comment is probably very straightforward, there could be other reasons why people post their ‘ideas’ and ‘thoughts’. In addition, the way they have written these comments, in relation to its ‘original’ intent were also very varied. Some are delivered subtly, while others are downright outbursts. This phenomenon makes the researcher questions the causes of these mixed responses. This research will be a descriptive research. This article discusses the concept of interactivity to analyse the types of interaction involves in the occurence. Using this concepts, the researcher is going to observe the comment written about the political news which focus on governor election, which is shared on an internet social media giant, namely Youtube. In addition, the researcher also makes word profile of the comments to find out the most frequent words written on the topic using Lex Tutor. The researcher also looks at the relation between the content of the news and its comments. The researcher limits the data collection only from comments written on the 15 of February 2017, and only on English-based news on Jakarta governor election. After the data collection, the researcher will sort and classify the data based on the findings. The researcher is hopeful that the facts acquired from the findings of this research will be useful for his community. Furthermore, as a lecturer, the researcher also feels that the results of this research can be beneficial to his teaching repertoire.
