This paper discusses about how the shape of language choice in a conversation on the social life of the Arab villages in Cisarua, Bogor. Language choice in the Arabic society and the North and South Tugu resident is an interesting phenomenon to be studied from sociolinguistic perspective, because it relates not only to the language aspects but also to the social status aspects. The research started from the assumption that the propensity of using one language in society has an effect to bilingualism (including Indonesian language and sundanese language) to be multilingualism (Arabic language as an additional language) society as a language conversation between Tugu resident and foreign resident or foreign tourists. The research use a qualitative method by using switching code and mixing code as a tool to analyze language choice and to identify an interference level too in one of the language. The result shows that the propensity of one language used more than language other and become dominant in social interaction.
