Isi artikelWomen trafficking is a kind of inhumanly action done by group of people for the sake of their own benefit. The women are exploited and treated like things. These women can be traded without considering their right as human being. The women trafficking is illegal business that is bringing in huge profit. The doers of women trafficking may gain a lot of ,with very low asset. One of the assets is the pander. Panders are those who become the spearhead in the activity of women trafficking. The panders play very important role of hunting the potential women to be exploited. The ability of persuading and assuring these women is reflected by the great number of women in Indonesia becoming the victims in this trafficking. What they have done bring about the very extraordinary effects. This writing is aimed at describing the way the panders persuade the women which is reviewed from Medical-Pragmatics perspective. The objectives of this writing are to identify the type of the order of the panders’ speech act in persuading the women and the medical effect emerged. The research is conducted in West Sumatera (Padang, Lima Puluh Kota, Tanah Datar) . The data are any panders’ utterances containing persuasion. To collect the data, observational method with note-taking, recording, and interviewing are applied. The interview is to the potential victim (productive women), their family, and the society. Referential, pragmatic, and translational identity method that is related to the concept proposed by Kissine (2013)and Revita and Trioclarise (2016) are the method applied in data analysis. The result of analysis is descriptively-naratively presented. Having analyzed the data, it is found that there are three types of panders’ speech order. They are (1) 1 in 1; (2) 2 in 1, and (3) multi in 1. Medically, the utterances can give (a) physical effect and (b) psychological effect.
