A number of prior studies have investigated company website practices and offered important recommendations to improve website usability. However, little attention has been devoted to identifying factors that may help to explain differences in company web design usability practices. This exploratory study involves a content analysis of INC. 5000 company websites to examine the effect of site type and company type on selected website usability practices.
